If you’re wondering what Cyclocross is, it’s a winter cycling sport in which riders do laps on a short course with steep inclines, jump over barriers, and race for a certain time period plus a certain number of laps, using modified or custom-built road/mountain bikes. Here are some photos from a shoot I did Tuesday with my buddy Kyle while we were out riding in downtown Boise… I’m the guy on the silver bike, he’s the one on the orange. It’s an obscure form of mountain biking called “Observed Trials”, and is rooted in motorcycle trials. Kyle tends to be somewhere in between pure trials and freeride, while I’m more a trials rider.

We were pretty limited on time so the locations aren’t too diverse, but it went well nonetheless.  And it’s been *far* too long since I’ve had a good sports shoot!
