Today’s update is a family portrait shoot for one of my good friends, in McCall on the lake, along with last weekend’s wedding. I’ve been starting to work with off camera lights a bit more the last few weeks – I’ve finally figured out a setup that’s pretty quick to work with – up until now I just haven’t been quite satisfied with having everything work reliably and be small enough to move with. Now, that’s been taken care of
You can probably notice a little bit of stylistic change over the past few weeks – I’ve been doing things a little differently since a shoot I did for The Waiting Kind. Basically, I’ve started doing some distinctly layered images, or super-simple compositions with simple lighting. It’s a good kick to be on.
Enjoy!
