I’ve been pretty busy the last few weeks – apparently, wedding season booking season has started… And my schedule is filling up quick!
In honor of wedding season, here are a few shots from Tim and Celeste’s wedding, and a couple of reactions. Their wedding was in Spokane, Washington on June 22, 2007… Every wedding comes out different – and this one was no exception. Everyone was just fun and crazy. It was the first wedding where I started using remote cameras – one was set up on the balcony with a super-telephoto, to pick up detail shots and kiss/ring moments; the other was behind the altar – the light coming through the windows made gorgeous silhouettes on everyone during the rehearsal and did exactly the same at the wedding (this is why I like full coverage!). And, for good measure, the last frame of the guys at the batting cage (they were in the minor-league-speed cage) – the ball ended up nailing me in the head. My favorite is by far #23 – everyone going crazy in front of the car afterwards – and it’s also now the front page for my website. I normally don’t like anything resembling posed shots, but this was a far enough venture from traditional posing that it makes the cut. At some point I’m going to put up some video/flipbooks of them, but for now, you can imagine the rest.
I want to try and express how beautiful your photos of Tim and Celeste’s wedding were. I have seen several wedding portfolios, and regardless of the family connection, I have never seen such creative, breath-taking photos as the ones you produced. I have so many “favorites”, I can’t begin to number them! I merely want to share my pleasure and joy at viewing such amazing works of art. You are truly gifted! -Mother of the bride
I don’t know what wedding you were at, but these pictures are awesome! -Tim
