Meet Dom and Liz. Dom is from New Zealand, and Liz is from Idaho. They met while Liz was studying abroad in New Zealand about five years ago, and things just clicked. Fast-forward a few years and Dom has been cleared to move to the States to be with Liz. I’ve known Liz for a few years – my wife grew up with her sister. They’re a really fun couple so I jumped on the opportunity to work with them! Their wedding was at Lutheran Brethren Church in Nampa, Idaho, then we went the Nampa train depot to do some photos with the wedding party, to Boise for photos with Liz and Dom (where Liz braved sub-freezing temperatures for her photos!), and back to Nampa just in time for their reception at Grace Episcopal Church.

This is a quick take from Israel and Stefanie’s wedding on December 30th, 2011.  For those of you who don’t know me, I run.  A lot.  I met Israel while we were both competing in track – him as a sprinter, me at distance events.  He’s pretty quick.  So, having known him a while I convinced them to run out and try something new – I’ve never had a chance to shoot backlit like this before, so it took a few tries, but once it worked it was awesome.  I’ve got a couple of things I think would add a little more flair, but for a first try?  I’ll take it!
