A few shots from Idaho’s high school state track championships at Boise State University. I mostly covered the 1A to 3A sprints on Saturday morning – a very, very cold and wet Saturday morning… I’m still a little cold and it’s Tuesday night now!

It’s funny how “photographers” tend to come out of the woodwork at some events – there were about 20 photographers present for the 1A to 3A finals when I was there! Of course, they spent most of the morning inside; I was the only one there ready with rain covers for my cameras… But then I was the only one charging enough to afford rain covers in the first place! My editors were really happy with mine, but I hope the other papers hadn’t reserved too much space for photos :)

These photos are from a rail jam in Boise at the Hyde Park. It was sponsored by one of my recent clients, Banshee Bungees. You can find a few more of my shots on their web site Here… I’ll probably post a few more from other shoots when I have time!

If you’re wondering what Cyclocross is, it’s a winter cycling sport in which riders do laps on a short course with steep inclines, jump over barriers, and race for a certain time period plus a certain number of laps, using modified or custom-built road/mountain bikes. You can find more info on Wikipedia’s Cyclocross Page
