Here are some photos I shot of Phil Wickham, Leeland, and Matt Maher last weekend when they passed through Boise on their Night of Worship tour. I loved working with them – first, they’re probably some of the best christian worship musicians in the country, so just getting to go to the concert was awesome; second – they’re wildly passionate about their music, which comes through a lot in the pictures and gives me a lot to work with!
I had the (monumental) task of covering my church’s youth conference last week and weekend. The first couple of days was played by The Waiting Kind, and then Leeland… That’s a pretty darn impressive combination. It’s also nice working in a familiar venue – you can throw out ideas like “Think we could put a camera in that rafter?” and have it actually happen! And a big shout out goes to lighting techs Keila Bates and Tracy Wilde – they put the real work into making this look good!
I did some photos for Capital Christian Center in Boise about a week ago… They’re in a pretty different style from what I usually use – it’s a bit more reflective of their graphic design and broadcasting.
